SPRING SEASON

What is it and how do I get involved?

What is the Spring Season?

The Spring Season is a secondary program that allows Regional teams in Age-Group Divisions Under-19 (U-19) through Under-10 (U-10), in both genders, to travel and play against teams from other Regions in stratified levels. The Season is to be coordinated and administered by the Regional Spring Coordinator (RSC), or as designated by the Regional Commissioner (RC).

The Season will be divided into two halves with two mandatory breaks in the schedule, either in the First Half or Second Half of the Season, during the weekend that the Section Annual Conference and the National Annual General Meeting (NAGM) is held.

     A. First Half for Divisions U-10 and U-12 Boys and Girls, and U-14 Girls runs from December 1, 2006 through a Saturday that is no later than two weeks before the 2007 Kirk Banks Tournament.

     B. Second Half for Divisions U-14 Boys and U-19 and U-16 Boys and Girls runs from March 1 to May 31, 2007.  During this half there will be a break in the schedule during the week of the Kirk Banks Tournament.
