Welcome to the 14th Annual Windward Classic, hosted by Kaneohe Region 113. Our goal is to provide your team with the best soccer tournament experience ever.
This tournament is open to all Regions in Section 7 with Gold Level Spring teams in the U-10 Girls and Boys, U-12 Girls and Boys and U-14 Girls Divisions. Each age division and gender will have no more than eight (8) teams. There will be one team per Region, per Division, per gender accepted. If a Region wishes to enter more than one team they may do so, however only the primary team in each Division/Gender will be guaranteed a slot. Secondary teams will be placed on a wait list. If applications are not received from eight different Regions, a secondary team will be considered, based on the date of application.
Player Eligibility: All players must be AYSO registered in accordance with AYSO Section 7 2006 Spring Season Guidelines. Regional Commissioners must certify and approve all teams, coaches and players for participation.
Tournament Fees: U-14 and U-12, $225. U-10, $200. Fees include a tournament t-shirt and pin for each player and coach. Please submit a Region check payable to: AYSO Region 113. A notation at the bottom of the check (06 WWC Tournament Fee) will be greatly appreciated.
Referee Deposit and Referee Team Requirements: Each team in the tournament shall provide a qualified referee team made up of one center referee and two assistant referees for a maximum of three games (which may include stand-by assignments). A refundable deposit of $100 will be required to ensure that each team’s referee obligations are fulfilled. In addition, teams not fulfilling a referee assignment will forfeit all points (standings and sportsmanship) for their assigned game that day. Please submit a Region check payable to: AYSO Region 113. A notation at the bottom of the check (06 WWC Referee Deposit) will be greatly appreciated.
Commitment: A completed Team Commitment Form along with the applicable tournament fee and referee deposit (Region check only) should be received by AYSO Region 113, Kaneohe no later than December 4, 2006. Each commitment form will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Telephone reservations will not be accepted.
Team Rosters: A completed Team Roster and Team Information Form are also due December 4, 2006. Teams that do not submit these forms on time may be replaced by another team which provides all necessary fees, deposits and required paperwork. All rosters will be cleared by the AYSO National Support and Training Center.
Mandatory Coaches Meeting: A mandatory coaches meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 6:30 p.m., at the McDonald’s Restaurant in the Windward City Shopping Center. Click Here for a map to this location.
